Andrew M. Lague

Hyde Park-Andrew M. Lague, 69, passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 at Copley Hospital in Morrisville with his family by his side. He was born November 20, 1945 in Morrisville, the son of Maurice and Lillian Morin Lague.

Andrew was a long-time equipment operator and property manager for a company in Stowe. He was very dedicated to his work and family. He enjoyed tinkering on equipment and planning and executing landscaping projects. He loved spending time in the woods; sugaring and hunting when he could and gardening. Andrew loved visiting with his family and friends and was always happy to lend a hand.

He is survived by his children, Tina Lague of Eden Mills and Andre’ Lague of Hyde Park; grandchildren, Christopher Lague, Zachary Oram, Shannon Oram, Katie Oram and Lillian Oram; great grandchildren, Lyric Lague and Sawyer Oram; siblings, Michael Lague of Eden Mills; Bernadette Lague of North Hyde Park and Elizabeth Lague of Burlington; and his best friend, Eric Nichols of Morrisville. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, George Morway, Omer Morway , Norman Morway, David Lague and Pierre Lague and his life partner of 40 years, Margaret Miller.

A gathering and celebration of his life for family and friends will be held Sunday, February 15 from 2 to 6 p.m. at his home at 1211 Will Grimes Road in Hyde Park.
