Kenneth R. “Kirby” Beardsley, Jr.

Stowe-Kenneth R. “Kirby” Beardsley, Jr., 58, died peacefully Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Copley Hospital in Morrisville. He was born September 18, 1956 in Mount Holly, New Jersey, the son of Kenneth and Dorothy Barnett Beardsley.

Kirby had been a resident of the Stowe area for 30 years and owned and operated a specialty food business. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed foraging; loved the woods and cooking.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Beardsley; a sister, Sandra Ellis and husband, Richard of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a nephew Shane Ellis and a niece, Candice Ellis. He was predeceased by his parents.

A gathering and celebration of Kirby’s life will be held for family and friends at the Commodores Inn from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2015.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kirby’s memory may be made to North Country Animal League, 16 Mountain View Meadow Road, Morrisville, VT 05661.
